My son went into the pool and he said it doesn’t feel like sand and just goes poof when he touches it...he couldn’t get a sample out from the bottom for me...how does one check for lateral crack?

The bubbles are on the walls all around the pool, not coming out of return. I’ll see if my son can get some actual “sand” from the bottom of the pool later if it’s not too cold and will report findings...thx!
