    I live in Houston and I can’t stand a hot pool. I have been looking into a Glacier pool cooler and was wondering if anyone had reviews. Is it worth it, is it LOUD, is it huge (I need the 30k gallon one), and can I set it up with Pentair automation ? Wife is giving me a tough time with this one

    Having issues posting a pic. They never leveled the yard before digging. While digging they did make sure the board that runs the shape of the pool is the same height on all sides. Thing is there are parts of that board that is above the yard in some spots and below in other.

    Trying to decide between Blue Surf and Prism Blue Pebble Sheen. Not a lot of shade and only 7ft deep in the deep end. Also, are the shells worth adding?

    Few questions before doing OB

    1) Do you need to do a soil analysis? 2). Do u need a surveyor to resurvey or can I use the one from the build of the house? 3) Does the excavation company do the pool layout with the boards or is that my responsibility? Thanks for all the help.

    OB vs Builder

    Wanting to OB a pool in in Houston. Never done it before but was wondering if there is a lot of savings by self GC vs hiring a pool builder? Heard markup was around 30%, does that sound right?
