I did email them, and they told me to switch the caps!

I know because I test my pool regularly, and got a vastly different reading with the new reagent. Then switched tips, and it was back to normal. I’ll test it again right now

I switched the dropper to the one on my old bottle of same reagent, and fixed it. I promise you, the drops were smaller. I can mail it to you so you can see for yourself.

Hardness test, for clarification

Just a public service announcement. When I ordered my TF-100 refill kit, the dropped on my R-0012 was the wrong size drops. I hope mine was an isolated case, but just giving folks a heads up. I knew something wasn’t right when I ran a full panel, and one of my numbers was WAY off of normal!

Thanks all! The salt seriously changed my pool in one day. I got in first to test it out, and it literally felt like I was swimming in silk compared to before! Maybe look into borates next! I will definitely watch the PH.

CYA is 50. We do use sun screen. But several of the discomfort issues have been evening swims without sunscreen

My son will be 2 at the end of this month, and he's a fish! Swims on his own! We did ISR these last two summers, and he's now off on his own! Jumps off the diving board and all. I don't even have to get in the pool with him! I'm always there though, of course!

I have discovered this year that FC loss when FC levels are at SLAM level is very high (during the day). OCLT is a good indicator. If you passed OCLT, try letting your levels drop down to normal level for CYA of 70, and see if it holds better. Mine sure did!
