All year been using the pool essentials chlorinating liquid 10% and they were out and the wife bought this today which says 10% as well but wanted to make sure it was same thing as it mentions shock. Are these two things the same and OK to use ?

I may have snuck out with just needing a good scrubbing? (fingers crossed). Passed the oclt and just checked and back to crystal clear and since yesterday at this time I only lost 1 ppm of fc I'm 24 hours .

Well it got dark on me and didn't get to go back out (don't have lights) I gave it a good scrubbing and skimming and added my nr9mal amount right at dusk. So I essentially did a oclt test... As it was getting dark I was at 8.5 ppm of fc. I tested this morning about 9:30am and was still at 8.5...

And pretty sure algae... It's been a few years but greenish spots at bottom when brushed it sweeps up like dust almost and starts turning water cloudy.

I will say I was not super strict with the kids brushing the pool this year.... Would that be it then? Ughhhh, so disappointed in myself. Do I still need to slam or since my FC never dropped to danger levels do I just need to brush and maybe it will clean itself up?

OK, I subscribed to the pool math app so I can track it better. Happy to say nailed the cya sock method and was perfect 40 after adding last night. Pool math is a little worried about a few other things. I will attach screenshot, anything I need to be alarmed about or let it ride?
