Pool losing water with cover on

Have you been getting steady rain? What are the daytime temps up your way? Down here during our dry season I can easily lose that to evaporation.

Can you mount anything to the Upright Support?

Oh, and my box isn’t shaded, but it wouldn’t be hard to attach a shade to post.

Can you mount anything to the Upright Support?

We put a couple of cross pieces on an open side of my electrical post, and mounted controller to that. We faced it towards the house so I can look out a back window and see the lights. I’d rather have the electrical stuff all together and not have any long cord lengths between post and...

Pool Blaster Hydro 500 vs. Pool Blaster Centennial Li

I don’t know anything about them, but in looking at their specs they are very close in weight, batteries last about the same amount of time. If it were me I’d probably go for the cheapest. Lol

Can you mount anything to the Upright Support?

Option 3. Because I said so. LOL Seriously, you want your electrical stuff a few feet away from the pool wall. It doesn’t have to be in the middle of your plumbing - my post is about 5 or 6 feet away from pool wall - I forget which but it meets code requirements. Pump and sand filter are closer...

    AGP 18x33, question about uprights

So every single bottom channel is shaped exactly the same? If so, I would assume it’s intentional and will be fine when the pool when filled. You also could call Leslie’s to see if they have any insight or can connect you with manufacturer.

    FILTRATION SYSTEM

My pool configuration is like that too - factory installed cut outs and I really didn’t want to cut through my resin wall. So I have a directional eye on my return, and point it in the opposite direction from my skimmer. With the help of the wind direction usually being towards the skimmer, I do...

    FILTRATION SYSTEM

What size is your pump, and how many gallons is your pool? I’m not sure what you mean by it not reaching.

    AGP 18x33, question about uprights

There’s something wonky about your uprights, but I can’t tell what it is. For your concern about the bottom channel, you would need to take a closeup photo of that area so we can see what you mean. But the way your uprights bow out doesn’t look like image 7 in the instructions - you can see that...

Wash out under side wall of the line of

I don’t see how you can repair a hole that size without taking pool down. In addition, there’s a darn good chance it will simply wash out again. Being in Florida, are you sure it’s washout and not an actual sinkhole? Do you have enough yard to move the pool away from the low area?

Skimmer only or keep side drains in the system too?

It’s totally up to you. I put a valve on one of mine and then partially closed the valve. I liked that because I was doing a lot of traveling and worried about the water level getting low enough to harm the pump. It also helped me to control the water flow when connecting the Intex robot, which...

    I am not crying yet

If you want to stick with Intex combo cartridge filter, you could go for the 1,500 model. Pretty sure it uses same size hoses.

    I am not crying yet

On the contrary, Intex pumps are supremely undersized for the pools they come with. So if the hat doesn’t help, a better pump might be a good idea.

    I am not crying yet

Actually, I’m the one who initially said “cut in.” OP just said installed, so now I’m wondering which type of skimmer they have.

    Back to SWG?

So, moisture causes rust. If you take the extra steps you’ve mentioned and most importantly, insure that moisture doesn’t get trapped anywhere in contact with the frame, it’s totally up to you on the type of maintenance you want to perform. I literally ran an Intex salt water combo pump filter...

    AGP 18x33, question about uprights

What type pool is this? Manufacturer and model, please. Would like to have a look at the install instructions. I’m confused by the closest upright on the right side of the photo… it looks like the upright isn’t on the block but is floating, while the end of the brace is on the block.

    I am not crying yet

Yes, photos to see your set-up. Did your pool come with 1 or 2 intakes? If 2, and you also cut in a skimmer, I would plug one of the intakes and see if that helps your skimming action. Or are you talking about the over the wall skimmer that is attached to one of your intakes? You won’t...

New AGP with Powerline XP I double insulated pump - is bonding required?

But your pool itself needs to be bonded, correct? Regardless of whether or not your pump is exempt.

    24' x 52" Wilbar replacement wall

I don’t know, but honestly I would be surprised if it did - a lot of manufacturers make a point of making it difficult not to use proprietary bits and pieces. Bumping for more views.

More questions regarding semi inground pool soon to be installed

Several of us run at low speed 24/7. Some, like @Newdude, have pump and SWG wired together so that SWG runs when pump is running, and they just set SWG for a low output. Others, like me, have them wired separately and have SWG on a timer to run for a few hours at a higher output. (But, one of...

    Nautilus CC - (Dolphin)

I’m sorry, I don’t have any experience with that vacuum. I’m assuming it has always acted that way, since you bought it? Did it come with a guide with troubleshooting tips? If not, you can probably find one online.

INTEX 1200 gph Sand Filter Help

Are you sure you have it installed the correct way? I ask because I once installed one with the pump attached to the return and the filter attached to the skimmer, and it did just what you described! Otherwise, check all your fittings and make sure they are tight. Did you lune all your gaskets?

    Above Ground Pool Search

Bumping for more visibility. Could you remove the track and use an overlap liner instead? I don’t have any knowledge of the pool you’ve mentioned, so don’t know if that is possible.

I don’t have experience with either, but here’s a vote for the Saltwater Aurora!

    Above Ground Pool Foundation

You shouldn’t build up or fill the base - always level down to the lowest spot. Depending on the size of the root system of the tree, I would be hesitant to install the pool over that area since you may have some sinking as the roots decompose.

    Foam base

Is your cement pad level and will the whole pool including supports fit on it? If so, there is no need to install anything under the legs. You could even cut out the foam around the legs so they rest directly on the cement. I would use the thicker padding, to protect the bottom of the pool and...

    3" sand layer questions

I totally would dig down to fresh undisturbed solid ground. I know it’s extra work but you want this pool up and stable for YEARS to come, so don’t take short cuts. My story is pretty similar - we installed partly over a former pool’s site, so it was partly compacted, but we had our installer...

You can purchase a new liner online -pool warehouse, pool factory, etc. I would call around for install.
