I recently had an aboveground saltwater lx round pool installed (operating as a chlorine pool-not salt). While placing river rocks around the pool, one of the vertical uprights got scratched in a few different places as rocks we being dumped from a wheel barrel. The website says this model has steel uprights finished with a texturized polyester anti-corrosion coating. I live in the north eastern region of USA where we have a true four seasons. Do I need to worry about rusting? If so, will is compromise anything and what do I do about it? See pic below.

If those scratches go through the protective coating, you might want to hit them with some rustoleum. Don’t use it over existing rust - you’ll need to remove that before you treat the spots.
