There are after market devices you can buy that will increase suction by sitting on top of your skimmer basket and regulating the opening of water coming in. Smaller openings increase the speed of water and therefore increasing skimmer action. Work great IMO but you need to watch water levels...

Hey guys, i opened up the pool and everything great until i realised im losing a ton of water. Leak was found coming from behind the return jet in my pool steps. Dye test showed water clearly running under the flange but not into the return. What can i do here? I can see the threaded opening...

Just curious what people recommend I'm leaning toward trying to liquid stabilizer since it registers instantly versus waiting a week for the solid granules. I can get it for $27 a gallon delivered to my front door which though more expensive seems like such a deal to me, the local pool store...
