check the distance from the end of the pool blaster insert to the pin holes. you may have to loosen the pole and pull the pole handle back a little if the pool blaster insert is a little long. One of my tools is like that. i'm assuming you have an extension pole.
Robot would turn in only one direction and then stop dead after a few minutes.
Nothing found in tracks or gears. thought it might be a dead motor drive.
Ran it without belts to take the load off the side of the motor drive that was getting stuck. it worked.
so looked closer underneath and found...
I usually buy cya in 25 lb bags. Use an old cya tub that holds 1.75 lb per label about 80pc full to scoop cya from the large bag. I have been using a funnel to add the cya to old over-the-calf socks. One sock will easily hold one or two 1.75-lb doses. Usually have to shake the funnel a little to...
i rarely b/w longer than 3.5 minutes and usually rinse about 20 to 30 sec.
you do turn the pump off before changing valve positions, right? no offense intended.
i also turn my valve in only one direction, even if this makes me turn over 300 degrees. don't remember why i started doing that but do...
Savage, did you lube the gasket?
Does the spring tension feel weak when you depress the handle?
Check the pin holding the handle to the valve--is it sticking out a little to either side? if so, give it a tap with a center punch or similar to re-center it.
i have a mesh cover and get a good bit of wind. the cover tends to lift and let in a lot of debris. i have tried last couple years using foam pipe around the outer edges of cover but they tend to blow out, or worse, in. So this year i am trying water tubes along the outer edges and so far so...
I have a lot of leaves too and also put the mesh cover on a month or so before closing. water samples from skimmer; reduced pump operation, add chemicals in front of return using my pvc adapter shown in another thread, or pop the cover near the returns. my returns are all on one side so when i...
you might want to check availability of chlorine first. No more stock in my area, at least from my normal suppliers. i have enough on hand to close, barring an alien attack (green monsters).
For reference, a local company is now charging a minimum closing fee of $325 just to blow out lines and close them. Not including any chemicals or putting on cover. For that, price goes up to $475. I close my own and use a cyclone blower.
While i agree that many baqua users that have posted here have dealt with pink slime, i did see a post recently about ONE baqua user that hasn't. dont remember the topic, but was surprised to find even ONE.
I treated our dishwasher today per the jar directions, but no gunk was present to wipe away. So either it got rinsed away or it wasnt dirty. Hard to imagine not dirty after over 5 years. but clean is good regardless!
1. make a weighted ring to surround the drain cover using noodles and lead weights?
2. weigh down a frisbee to cover the drain? could crack the main drain valve open slightly for some suction to help hold it in place.
obviously only while vacuuming.
i know, not very good ideas, but maybe get...
