Latest test indicated that FC is 8.5. Other readings were Salt=3100, Temp=54, pH=7.8, CH=75, TA= 120 & CYA=50. The GA days have been cloudy and RAIN.
Should I move the AquaRite to the off position and just use the filter in an attempt to lower FC?
1) if CC is > .05 pool school reads to “SLAM”. Won’t that put FC out of balance to CYA?
2) Under Daily Pool Care Schedule it states, Test Chlorine Level. Which one, FC, TC, CC?
I have downloaded the pool math app on my desktop computer. Entered first set of results without issue. Went to enter next set of test results and it tells me I need to subscribe in order to store multiply test results. I click on the subscribe icon and it does nothing. Appreciate any help.
Installed new T-15 element so I have accomplished Step 1-Salt at 3200
Step 2-Adjust CYA between 70-80. Using my new TF100 test kit my readings were: CYA=30, Cl=5, pH=8.2.
Pool math suggest I add 2 US Gal. of Liquid Stabilizer. Do y'all agree? Any recommend Liq, Stab.?
Well, well. Included with my efforts to take over my pool I have ordered a TF-100 Test Kit, Flow Switch and was told that our Turbo Cell 15 is DEAD.
It will take several months of not paying the pool guy to pay for this.
Our "pool guy" is planting seeds to convert our salt pool back to chlorine. Some of his reasons are: salt is corrosive, salt requires more expensive equipment, etc.
What are your thoughts?
Although we live in GA the water is too chilly to jump in and measure the depth in order to calculate gallons.
The pool is oval and measures 15w x 32l and the deep end slopes from side to the bottom.
How does one measure that?
One month ago we moved from the county into the city. This house has a swimming pool. I have never wanted a pool, still don't want a pool but now have a pool (grandkids are happy). I know nothing about baby sitting the pool so have hired a gentleman to take care of it, although we didn't have...
