Closing my ag pool soon. It seems as though my return is very low on the side of the pool. Lowering the water to 6" below my lowest opening requires me to drain a lot of water. As a result, the cover ends up very low in the pool...and loose when it gets windy. Can I get away with draining below...

The closing article on this site says to use plugs for the returns/skimmer if you would like, owner's preference. What do you all do? I'm in PA, and winters do get very cold. Also, I have never used an air pillow before. What is the benefit to using one? Thanks in advance.

Having an issue keeping my pool crystal clear. I did a slam to clear it up. And added chlorine as need to keep FC levels in the required range. After a heavy rain, the pool got cloudy. Just did another slam and am back to crystal clear water. What's the secret to keeping it this way?
