    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I'm not here to like spread any Aiper negativity. I would just say as someone who had 3 units (now just 2 units) - and all 3 acted the same - this appears to be a real problem and not just a 1-off. Now, clearly some of us are here with pools that it works amazing for. I think that's...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Exactly what I thought also. It does seem to be stopping soon. The behavior of it is sadly very odd indeed. Happens with both units though annoyingly. I wouldnt say its particularly sloped. Sure there's some curve to the edge but the unit is stopping way too soon. Not to mention it seems...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Hi - I wanted someone with a S300 to comment! How does it perform? Also @tcat Here is the FULL timelapse video. Only 1 minute is cut out - it was dropped on the TOP RIGHT EDGE of the pool - floor only mode. It made its way to the middle-ish of the pool rotated - then went back to the corner as...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I mean mine is literally a rectangle, and it misses a good 25%. I'll timelapse it - but it leaves me incredibly unhappy as a good portion of areas are uncovered to the point I have to manually vacuum also.

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Thanks for this - but again I wonder compared to what is considered the best - like a S300 - how it functions. Are you saying owners of those more expensive vacuums have to do 2-3 cycles also? I think it may be unreasonable to think I'm unreasonable if you haven't personally tested the higher...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I bought them as gifts as they were the rave at CES (where I was). In hindsight, I should have perhaps tested one for 30 days. I have returned the 3rd one (it was so bad that the person gave it back, LOL) and the 2 are currently with me still within the 30 days. I decided not to gift the 2nd one...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Can you show how you installed these? Confused what you mean by cutting lip off? Mine seems to sometimes* get stuck on the drain Again - I could understand having 1 dud. But do you think it's plausible I got 3 duds? I bought 3 of them - and have 2 for myself. All 3 have the same issues...

Pool Water Never Sparkling (pics)...Looks whatever...2006C test inside

Admittedly...I have been avoiding that. Its never a fun process...I hate the stupid nut on there and always find it super annoying to take the big clamp off .. I figured it was probably that. Before I do though...I have to admit I have done cleanings before. The cartridges however are well over...

Pool Water Never Sparkling (pics)...Looks whatever...2006C test inside

Hi all...not new here. Recently noticed my pool water seems lackluster...admittedly I did skip brushing for a week...but I got it cleaned up...still...the pool is cloudy. TA 88 CYA 80 - SWG SYSTEM pH 7.2 Chlorine: 14ppm currently due to adding 44oz chlorine liquid yesterday as a test for OCLT...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I have 2. Both do the same thing. It also likes to lift itself a lot and turn in random directions. I have a rectangle pool with curved walls in the corners. Neither of them properly do the wall. They seem to stick to doing the floor even when I made sure its the correct Auto mode. I see it...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Hi guys I have this vacuum. I strongly urge against it. I was excited to get it...and all it does is aimlessly bounce around like a Roomba in the water. It misses spots...and overall does a poor job for my 11k gallon pool...shocked at their advert. The smart navigation feature is...

I need major help - longtime forum goer - SLAM failures, etc. (with PoolMath logs)

Hi Dustin Thank you. I understood most of that and definitley knew SWG increases pH which gets reduced when chlorine gets used back to what it should be. Yeah I heard about pH pumps actually..they generate the acid similar to a SWG. I wish I could afford that. sadly i cannot...but then again...

Helloooo Dustin! First of all - thank you immensely for reading such a lengthy post! And moreover, thank you doubly for being more organized than me in the response. I apologize. I'm flustered a bit from all of this. I will attempt to mimic Wow had no idea. I thought no CC or CC or .5ppm =...

I need major help - longtime forum goer - SLAM failures, etc. (with PoolMath logs)

Hi All, In the past I thought I was slamming my pool - but admittedly I realize I had been doing the process wrong. It's hardly a wonder I kept feeling like I was struggling despite getting a SWG...."it can't be this hard!" This summer obviously was OK, but after 7 months (got the SWG hooked...

    RJ-45+ Woes

I'll admit - ever since I hurt my back I haven't been able to brush the pool on an every other day basis. It goes a week before I brush it usually. I didn't realize algae forms a biofilm. I know that before I did an output of 30% - I had the OCLT passed, and this could have caused an algae...

    RJ-45+ Woes

If I recall it might be producing a certain amount of FC/day - but that's also getting used up is it not? I do technically see some algae at the bottom (yellowish) but when I did the OCLT - it never dropped befopre then. Does algae form if the pool isn't brushed for long periods of time despite...

Discrepancy between TFTestkit Salt results and Circupool SWG reported levels

Same deal here with my RJ-45. So glad you posted this. Mine flickers HI SALT. Despite the actualy Taylor 1766 test kit reporting its within range. As long as it's generating, I'd ignore it knowing yours does this too.

    RJ-45+ Woes

Hi all.. Had my circupool RJ-45 for a while now. . I run at 90% for 6 hours of pump time. I have a 11,200 [whatever it says in my signature...might be off here] gallon pool (depth calculated for accuracy). I added CYA to the pool in the form of liquid CYA that dissolves super easy - but it...

Rebalancing Pool Woes [with full logs]

Wow...its been a while since I took inorganic chemistry. Thank you for that. So you're saying it always neutralizes so pH returns back to what it is? So if one is at 7.2 and SLAMS...it would go up and back down to 7.2 again eventually or slightly higher? Thank you

Rebalancing Pool Woes [with full logs]

The CYA was measured using an Aqua system from Leslies. They claimed 5. My Taylor kit claims CYA is 10...the black dot doesn't vanish even if filled all the way to the top. I'm gonna guess its accurate Also how does chlorine not affect pH? Isnt it basically chlorine which is a base by nature?

Rebalancing Pool Woes [with full logs]

Hi everyone I wanna keep this short. recently I've been rebalancing the water of my neglected pool. It is now officially SWG and I have kept logs. I struggled with a TA of 410. (Tested 3 times) and CH of 600. I brought those down quite a bit. Today was a struggle trying to use the whole...lower...
