Loosely. I drained the pool almost all the way, cleaned. Yesterday afternoon: My FC was 10 pH 7 TA 80 CYA 60 Did a test strip and FC was still high but saw evidence of algae today and dumped some more bleach in the pool. About 2 pints.

I've drained down my pool to start trying to irradiate the algae. The water does seem to be getting clearer but I don't know what to expect while the algae dies. What can I expect to see? Small 1080 gal UGP.

Just to clarify, what you gave me says Total Alkalinity has a range of 50 - 90 acceptable min to max. The Test Kit instructions say that 100 -120 is good for "normal pools".

I did not get the laminated instruction card. I got the box and the 3-Way OTO Test Kit and there were instructions within that but not for the rest of the stuff.

I just received my kit. I was hoping it would come with instructions and the other tools necessary but it only has the chemicals. Does the TFP kit work with any of the testing color vials? I didn't have the tools and I assumed the kit would have everything I needed.
