    Thanks. I sent the electrician a message. Something is giving me a tingle. As I stated earlier, Finger in skimmer it tingles. Wife shuts off pump using switch on pump, tingle stops.

    May do that if new pump doesn’t fix it. What else could it be? Thing is, 1-2 years ago due to seal leak And corrosion I considered a new pump. Electricity is 10.9 cents/kWh here. Both good reasons to snag the dual speed I found on sale (same pump I posted but different source).

    When I google “neutral to ground leakage” most pages say under 2 is normal. Some say 3v. Regardless, I ordered a pump last night.

    Currently have a Hayward powerflo MatriX SP1516-Z-1-ESC 1.5 HP 3450 RPM 115v On my 30’ round radiant. Also has a mechanical timer. Recommendations for two speed pump? Do I need a different timer?

    One other thing. Stupid I know. Set meter to ohms. Touched one probe to bonding wire and one to the hot. Tripped the breaker.

    No corrosion noted. 116v (earlier said 113) when touching black wire and bonding copper that goes to skimmer.

    We did have a seal leak last year that caused some corrosion.

    Tested twist lock outlet and it has 113v. Turned off breaker in the basement and it’s dead. Reset and it’s 113. Hit TEST aim the same breaker and it’s dead. Checking pump connections now. On the right track?
