    Recalibrate IC40?

Ok, per the link I was provided above it mentioned cutting and connecting the red and black wires coming out of the cell for a possible diagnosis. So then if I cut the green or white wire and see an increased salt reading using my ScreenLogic then that would tell me that the thermistor is bad...

    Recalibrate IC40?

So I did the recommended diagnostic of shorting the black and red wires coming out of the cell and it did not change my salt level light from red to green, it’s still solid red. Where to go from here? Am I looking at a bad SWG?

    Recalibrate IC40?

Would it still show a low reading if were bad? Or would it show a zero reading if it were bad?

    Recalibrate IC40?

My IC 40 is displaying a low salt reading (2600 ppm) via the cell red light and the system reading. I’ve tested the water with the K-1776 and verified it to be 3400 ppm. Testing for chlorine it would seem that the cell is not producing at the moment. The cell is roughly 2.5 years old and I...

    Pentair MasterTemp 400

The Pentair owners manual states that continuous use at water temps below 68 will cause damage due to condensation. Water temp is currently 63 and I’m wondering if there is truly any harm in heating the tub for the kids for the day? Any thoughts?

    Pentair Zero Salt Level Reading

Not a great feeling getting bad advice from a Pentair tech. I hate to keep throwing parts at the zero salt reading problem, especially given that the other things to replace would either be the surge board or even a main board.

    Pentair Zero Salt Level Reading

So more than likely my flow switch was not the issue.

    Pentair Zero Salt Level Reading

Trying to diagnose an on going issue with a zero salt level reading on Screenlogic. My pool temp is currently 51 degrees so my cell only has a cold water indicator. I recently replaced the flow switch on my IC40 after speaking to Pentair tech support about the zero salt reading when the water...

IC40 chlorine generator and chlorine levels

I did attempt to cancel out the super chlorination using the More/Less buttons on the generator itself but was unsuccessful given that operation is controlled by my system. I too was doubtful that the output could or would be automatically reduced but wanted to hear from others that are...

IC40 chlorine generator and chlorine levels

A few days ago I noticed that my screenlogic app was reflecting a zero salt level however I was not getting a low salt indicator on my generator itself. After searching posts on here I came to the conclusion that my flow switch is probably to blame but didn’t feel that it was critical to fix...
