    Above ground pool pump upgrade

There are some videos on You tube, but this is the method I have seen that could be the easiest and most cost effective way. Assuming that the sand pro 50 uses 1.50" hoses and fittings. Unfortunately I dont have any experience with that pump. Hopefully this might help you get an idea of what to...

Day 6 of fresh fill and got rain last night, questions?

One more thing When I am measuring my FC every day usually somewhere between 2.4 and 7ppm should I be using the 25ml @ .2ppm or use the [email protected]? I have been doing 25ml but anytime I am over 4ppm or more that's 20 drops or more. Seems like I should use the 10ml test so save reagent? Thanks...

Day 6 of fresh fill and got rain last night, questions?

Hi Day 6 of fresh fill and got rain last night. Let me start off by saying Friday I anticipated heavy bathers and lots of sun(80* in the PNW) so tried to add enough bleach 8.25% to compensate for those factors to get to 7ppm. Well neither of those things happend. Not alot of sun and not much...

Need help with my return fitting!

I think that's fine, it should only move enough to break the surface of your water when facing up(when pool is filled). Looks right to me. I have the smaller 1.25 fitting with an no eyeball at all. It just shoots out straight forward to the middle of the pool.

We Have A Paver Under Each Leg Should We Put Pull Pad/Tarp On Paver?

I wouldn't put it over the paver/ under the leg. I just folded or rolled mine up and it sit between leg and liner. There was not much extra on mine. You probably dont want anything bulky between leg and liner if that makes sense.

    Fresh Fill, first timer

Ok on my Taylor 2006 the CYA was halfway between the 30 and 40 so I just assumed it was 35. My target CYA on pool math is 45, should I change that to 40 then? And once target CYA is reached does it ever change? How often should I check CYA? Thanks for your help!

    Fresh Fill, first timer

So based on your 75% recommendation my CYA was at 35 this morning approximately 24 after adding stabilizer. I then used the fc/cya chart and made an FC adjustment based on an FC reading of 1.2 My question is tommorow morning I am going to test CYA again and raise to 45. Once I have added...

Whats a good TA range? And a few other questions?

Hi, 1st timer here. I went to the local pool store just to get my water tested by them for the first time only. My thought was it would be a good starting point for me to open up my Taylor 2006 and check my numbers against theirs. My question is that they have a range for TA at 125-150. My TFP...
