Tim, Sorry to be blunt, but... :mrgreen: If you have to SLAM more than once, then you simply are not doing it correctly and following all the steps.. :( It is almost impossible to get algae if you have a SWCG, unless you just don't keep your FC in the proper relationship with your CYA...

D, A specific Flow itself is not important, the results are what is important.. The main thing that you need to know is what RPM turns your SWCG on.. It does not matter if that is 15 GPM or 20 GPM or 25 GPM.. Flow through the cell has nothing to do with how much chlorine the cell is making...

Lost, Unless you close all three suction pipes at the same time, nothing will be damaged at all.. Kind of why you have valves... so that the water flow can be adjusted.. As long as you have at least one of the three pipes open, then your pump will run just fine.. Thanks, Jim R.

Roger, I am not sure I follow anything that you said, but try this... Your pump/filter relay will not close unless you are in the Pool mode or Spa mode... your pic shows you are not in either mode... You are not really set up to run 24/7... Set the "Pool" schedule to run 8 am, until 8...

Lost, If you want to know which skimmer line is which, just shut one off and see which skimmer no longer has any motion in the water.. It is not a big deal, but.. The skimmer that is farther away from the equipment pad will always have less suction with the valve set in the middle like you...

PPO, The power supply just does not get that hot.. A few holes would be perfect.. I built two boxes without doors for a couple of rent houses I used to have.. Deep enough so I could push the power supply back inside, away from the front, and with a sloping roof that kept the water out...

Fishy, Weir doors often intermittently stick up.. Could be broken, or just dirt getting trapped at the sides, etc... You should be able to easily move it up and down with no sticking.. But, at least you now now what to look for the next time the skimmer starts sucking air... Thanks, Jim R.

PS, 50% this time a year on an 11K pool is a lot... But.. You can't know if your FC is too high, or too low, unless you know your CYA level.. Look at your main pool pump and see if there is a small cable from the Control Head going back to the SunTouch.. Also, if the pump has a Display...

Fishy, It appears to me that you have two skimmers and they are both individually plumbed back to your equipment pad... :scratch: or... Do you mean that the two skimmers connect together at the pad??? If so, that is true.. But, the reason that you can shut off one of the skimmer is that...

J, You need an outside antenna and an inside antenna, if you use a wireless Pentair remote... AND the two antenna's must match and come as a set... I would use ScreenLogic and a PC and/or phone... But that is just me... I have no 'respect' for Pentair remotes.. :mrgreen: Let's see what...

Thomas, I buy all my robots from Marina Pool and Spa.. Free 2 day delivery and no taxes.. You used to have to call them to get it for the In-house-sale price, but not sure that is still true. They used to swap out the filter baskets, but I don't think they do that any more as they got in...

K, To go from 50 to 180 in 4 days is almost impossible unless you added a train car load worth of CYA.. A few tablets is not going to do this.. Something is wrong with your testing... How are you testing your CYA level?? Thanks, Jim R.
