Water is still cloudy after multiple treatments

The algorithm works by assuming the largest number of internet posts that agree on a subject is what’s “true”. The problem with that is there’s a very large number of pool forum, reddit posts, etc that fill up in the internet with questionable and bad advice. Quantity of knowledge doesn’t equal accuracy of knowledge. Enjoy the experiment, just don’t rely on it for anything.
Good point, and thanks for elaborating for others! I have to learn to post emoji's when I'm being sarcastic.

No need. I could tell there was a bit of sarcasm in there. I just keep encountering people who seem to believe that this AI thing is some new super intellect that provides all the answers mankind needs and don’t consider that its accuracy isn’t much better than a pool store test. (And they haven’t watched the The Terminator…)

Nothing to do for the moment. Leave the pool outdoor in the sunlight to allow FC to come down.
Stop using the CLBR test. Just use the drop test.
Thursday night update. After 2 days in the mid to high 80s here in Minnesota with the cover open and pump running on low (45%) and chlorinator turned off we are at

FC: 24 (5ml test)
CC: 2 drops. Not sure if I did this one right because even though I had 5 mLs of pool water, I still added 5 drops of R-003. It turned a light pink and then 2 drops of R-0871 brought it back to clear.

Let FC drop some more, the do the 10mL and get a good CC test.
Ok. Tuesday night 5/20 Test:

FC - 15.5
CC - 1 or 1.5. The 3rd drop came out pretty quick after the 2nd.
Ph - 7.5. We think. Kinda hard to read. Picture attached
TA - 150
CH - 450
CYA - 30
Salt - 3,000

You can make it only gather its info from troublefreepool.com. AI has its place, like you said though, just because its the loudest answer doesn't make it right.

No need to test pH, TA, CH at this point.

Let's get a good CYA test. Try these instructions for CYA. Test once more:

Then look up your SLAM level for that CYA and get rid of the CCs and cloudy pool. Slam on!

So the pool is perfectly clear right now.

You have CC >.5. That means SLAM.

Do the CYA test as described in that article...let's get good CYA.

If you want to do CC test again, clean the vial with rubbing alcohol and dry. Then test FC/CC again.

Ok. Re did the FC, CC, and CYA today.

FC = 13.5
CC = 0 (.5 at the most. I'm a little color blind so I added a drop to see if I could notice a change)
CYA = 60 (70 if I'm supposed to add 10. The link instructions are different from the one in my kit)

For cya if the dot dissapears anywhere between 60 & 70 you round up for chlorination purposes. Aka - don’t extrapolate between the lines just call it the higher amount so you’re covered 👍🏻
Tonight and in the am you should do an
Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to be sure you’re truly in the clear.
Keep the chlorinator and the cover off for the duration of this procedure. Leave the pump running so you don’t have to get up 30 minutes earlier in the am. See you when the rooster crows 🐔!

Thanks! Just did. FC held and I re did the CC test with my non color blind wife around just to be sure. Lol. Still 0.

If you have the speed stir/magnetic stirrer be sure to turn the light on - i also like to use it in the dark for extra clarity of the color changes.
