Tension break or freeze break?

Hello, we recently had our pool opened and discovered that we had a break in one of the lines. We are in the St Louis area so a freeze break could be a possibility. I am posting the break for any input. Thank you.

Is the pipe inside the 45 fitting also broken or just the 45?
