I have a 3 year old pool and I’ve got a leak that as of today it’s below the skimmers. If it’s a pipe crack is there a liner that can be used to save the effort of digging up the piping.
Main drains? It’s definitely leaking, tomorrow I’ll plug all the inlets and outlets before work and see what happens when I come home. What about the returns at the bottom of the pool.
No wet spots that I could see. And it’s just below the skimmer but no further and we got a bunch of rain last night and it didn’t rise above that point. I just plugged everything up and we are expecting more rain today so we’ll see. Thanks for the help.Main drains?
You should isolate each thing one at a time to narrow down what is happening as mentioned in the article.
If the water level is now below the skimmers than those aren’t the problem. If it goes below the returns (jets that return water to the pool) then you can rule those out.
Do you notice any wet spots in the yard or near the equipment pad?
There are very few companies that can do a CIPP liner down to 1-1/2" There is only one within a 1 state radius of me.I have a 3 year old pool and I’ve got a leak that as of today it’s below the skimmers. Not yet, I probably won’t be able to till late tomorrow or Friday.Have you inspected the liner?
Yeah another inch last night and one today. It’s below all the return lines now and I bought a dye kit to check the bottom drains to see if it was going out there. It wasn’t and I cannot find no holes or tears considering the amount of water I’m losing.Did you lose more water overnight?
