Pipe liners

Before assuming the worst let’s narrow down the culprit.
Here’s some info on how to do so strategically

It’s definitely leaking, tomorrow I’ll plug all the inlets and outlets before work and see what happens when I come home. What about the returns at the bottom of the pool.
Main drains?
You should isolate each thing one at a time to narrow down what is happening as mentioned in the article.
If the water level is now below the skimmers than those aren’t the problem. If it goes below the returns (jets that return water to the pool) then you can rule those out.
Do you notice any wet spots in the yard or near the equipment pad?

No wet spots that I could see. And it’s just below the skimmer but no further and we got a bunch of rain last night and it didn’t rise above that point. I just plugged everything up and we are expecting more rain today so we’ll see. Thanks for the help.

just got home from work and lost about 5/8 of an inch of water in 9 hours. All the returns were plugged and the only thing is the bottom drains. No wet areas around the filter but the water is below that anyway.

I have a 3 year old pool and I’ve got a leak that as of today it’s below the skimmers. If it’s a pipe crack is there a liner that can be used to save the effort of digging up the piping.
There are very few companies that can do a CIPP liner down to 1-1/2" There is only one within a 1 state radius of me.

There are other issues that are created when you do it...like, you will lose the threads on the bottom of the skimmer when the cipp covers them. Then you cannot use a gizmo or plug to winterize the lines. You also have to have access to smooth pipe on the pad side of the line. If you have any input valves, you would have to cut the lines to put in the CIPP, then rebuild the suction side.
