During the 2021 freeze, my first Polaris cleaner cracked in the usual place on the bottom of the pump housing. Since we were coming out of the pandemic, of course parts weren’t available so I had to buy a new one. I now have 2 with cracked pump housings.

I ordered the redesign today but I can’t find any torque specs if any on the 4 bolts or if I should use blue loctite. Anyone know?

Have never seen a spec on that pump (or really any other). You just need the bolts tightened to where the O ring will seal. Don't crush it. That is the big mistake many make, feeling that the bolts need to be "as tight as I can make them." You're dealing with what is virtually all plastic. Snug plus a little is all that is needed in most cases. Have never seen Loctite on a booster pump.

For what it's worth, I think this wouldn't be a bad idea to actually post. (Maybe even use inch pounds) For example on my Hayward C5030 filter, that clamp around the filter itself has a torque spec which helps a lot.
