Hi TFP people,
I’m having issues with my Auto Chlor SM30 Chlorinator.
All the green lights are flashing, they are usually solid.
Feels like I’m not making chlorine.

Pool has gone green in the last week.

if anyone could help or advise me I would appreciate it.

Welcome to TFP! I'm not familiar with that make/model SWG, so I'm going to tag a fellow mate or two from your area who may be able to help. In the meantime, it would also help to know more about your water chemistry which could give us a better picture. Can you post a full set of results from a reliable test kit (i.e Clear Choice Labs)?

Welcome to tfp, flashing output lights are not mentioned in your manual. I suspect something more sinister like maybe a board failure. I would give AIS a call, there no. is on the chlorinator or on the pic of the chlorinator in the manual. If your pool has gone green, and given the water is cold I would think that it hasn’t been producing any chlorine.

Hey @The Mushroom, there is a repair place in Kelvin Grove called Allbrands that may be worth calling but I would call AIS first.

And there is the green pool to fix, at TFP we go beyond a simple shock treatment with the SLAM Process but you will need a decent kit with a FAS/DPD FC test to do that. In Australia we go to Clear Choice Labs for that.
