How to get water clear

Rain won't matter much. Brush Brush Brush!!! Need to strip the biofilm on the algae so the HOCl can kill it. You are getting there!

Pics of the pool?

Yeah, now is the time for POP. Keep slam level. BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH. AGP sand filters will take some time to clear because they tend to smaller filters. Backwash, note clean pressure. When pressure rises 25%, backwash again.

I don't think you can leave the brushing to the robot, you need to be confident every square inch has had some attention and no lurking algae has got a free pass.

I can't imagine it can provide the level of thouroughness, aggression and the direct channelling of your algae death wishes as effectively as you standing there and doing it it.

I brushed every single inch today. 👍

But did you let the hate flow through you? 😂😂
My arms ache today so yes the hate flowed. I hope it’s ok to get in the pool like this. Only way I could get the center. I just brushed the whole thing again today. Still having to add. At 11 it was 8, so I added 1/2 a gallon. Couldn’t check again cause I had to leave right away. It’s 4:00. I just got home to check and it’s at 8 again.
Should I clean my sand , in case old algae is in there ? Or just keep adding and brushing ?

Here is an update.
Last night at 7 FC was 11.5, CC was .5, CYA was 40. I added a gallon of liquid chlorine .
At 9:30 pm FC was 19
This morning at 7:30 FC was 15
at 8:40 it is 13.5
The water now has small white fluffy chunks floating under the surface. (Pic attached but not sure if you can see it good in the pic)
I feel like there has been no progress.
Scrubbing all of it aggressively every day, every hidden spot checked. Ladder has not been put back in.
Pics attached.
Thinking it needs to be drained and start over??
Backwashing when pressure low.
Using a sock on the return thing to catch the small things.

Any advise

Try not to get discouraged.
If you have never done a deep cleaning of your sand it is probably a good idea to do so. Here’s the how to-
Also, be sure to do the cya test in bright light for the most accurate reading. Outside on a sunny day is best if possible.

If you have new chunks of stuff floating in the pool something is going on...even if it isn't exactly what you wanted to see in terms of progress.

Did you mean backwashing when pressure gets high? If your filter is gaining pressure hitting plus 25% and you are backwashing and seeing the sight glass go from dirty to clear the filter is doing work. How long is it taking for you to go through one of these pressure gain cycles?
