I think you mean using the wrong number instead of doing the test really. The reason for rounding up is to have more than enough FC so going "over" a bit is okay!
Might not seem like a huge difference between Day 3 & 4 but there is.
I have good news! At night, I can see the main drains from the house with the pool light on!!!! What an improvement!

Getting there for sure. The sad part is this would be good for most non-TFP pools. It is NOT good enough for yours though! Keep on keeping on!
Day 8. Just the tiniest teensiest bit hazy. Going to slam for a few more days. 
Can't wait to get out my old lady Poltergeist voice and say "this pool is clee-yahr."
