We have a single Hayward ColorLogic pool light with a manual outdoor switch.

It was working fine and suddenly stopped staying on. It turns off after a handful of seconds or doesn’t turn on at all.

incoming voltage to transformer is 121.4V AC
outgoing voltage is 14.6V AC

what should I check/do next?

Which model ColorLogic light do you have?

Most of the ColorLogic have no serviceable parts. If you have 14V to the light and it doesn't work then replace the light.

Can I replace with a less expensive, simple, white colour LED? We don’t use all the colour features of the Colorlogic.
