Pentair Screenlogic issues

Please confirm:
Is your indoor Transceiver connected to a router port with an ethernet cable?
Is your PC mentioned above connected to your router (same router) with an ethernet cable, or by wifi?
Can you connect to your Pentair system with a smartphone running screenlogic while on Cellular (remotely - phone not connected to your home wifi)?

Yes and it always appeared there until I installed the mesh router.

Which mesh router?

Screenlogic does not play well with mesh routers. It uses old technology that Pentair is not going to update. If you want it to work then you need to downgrade the part of your network that Screenlogic uses.
 
I'm stumped without being there and trying several things. The fact that it works sometimes makes it tough. The fact that it ever worked at all without your PA appearing in the local systems box is even more puzzling. I was working on possibly your PA is on a different subnet than your PC. If your PC also has wifi try turning that off. Verify ethernet cables are ok by testing them on other devices. If you run the PA update utility from Pentair.com does that software find your PA?
 
Before changing routers the local system box was always populated.
I haven't seen "connecting to pool controller please wait"since the middle of October just the CRYSTALPAD "The Connection to the Remote has been Shutdown unexpectedly"
Sometimes it will run for days 24/7 without an issue.
I also think that when it is down on my PC I can still access it on my phone.
 
I all sounds like an IP addressing issue. PA and computer are not on the IP same address.

If you can use your SL by phone app while PA doesn't appear in local systems, the PC is on a different network/subnet than the SL.

I asked if your old router works. Do a test.
Download the Pentair SL updates from Pentair.com to the PC
Disconnect both the computer and the PA from new router and connect to the old router (if it works).
Run SL Connect on PC. If local system populates - select it and run, under options "Configure ScreenLogic"
Verify PA version matches the version of SL Connect you are running 5.2 xxx.x Rel
Be prepared to install new SL Connect on your PC
Run the PA update utility you downloaded.
If it finds your PA and updates it, If your SL connect version matches the PA, If SL Connect populates PA all while everything is connected to old router, the issue is IP addressing of your new router. PA update sets default to DHCP. Verify PC is set to DHCP, verify new router is set to DHCP etc.
