I just think it is amazing how the technology can zoom in on the tiniest of stars.
JWST observes Earendel - the most distant star known - 12.8 billion light years away.

I am having trouble with one of the mirror segments on the telescope.
The Z-axis actuator is sticking on segment #17.
Does anyone know the best way to get the actuators unstuck?
I bought an extended warranty policy from TelescopeShied and they are saying that the damage or malfunction is not covered.
Shouldn’t these be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty or by the extended warranty from TelescopeShield?

I have known for years and assumed y'all already knew that JamesW IS the real James Webb that owns, navigates, and actually lives in the Janes Webb telescope. I think he comes back to earth semi-annually for supplies and such.
