Pump tripping breaker after seal replacement

That will probably be the easiest.

Turn off the CB in the main panel feeding the panel.

Label each wire for where it connects to the line and load screws. Then disconnect them all.

Then disconnect the wires.

Move the good relay into that space and then reconnect the wires.

The relay was the issue, thanks for the assistance. I'd buy you all a beer if I could but you will have to settle for a few pool pics...

Thanks to @1poolman1 as well!

Seems like you shouldn't run water through heater unless it is in use, which is rare for us so far.

As long as your water chemistry is good, especially the pH 7.0 or above, it does not create any problems running water through the heater all the time.

The heater by pass is good to have if you need to do any treatments to the pool that requires lowering the pH or when the heater springs a leak.

I'm also losing water when pump is running, I knew I had a pump seal leak which I fixed today, but seems like it's leaking too much for that to be the sole cause so will be measuring that now.

And my spa drains every night to just above the jets... I think all the backflows are good as I've replaced a few but no change... will save that for another day.

Does your spa spillover always run when you are in POOL mode?

Is there a downside to this plumbing? Seems like you shouldn't run water through heater unless it is in use, which is rare for us so far.
There is a lot of controversy regarding a heater bypass. Apparently, in some parts of the country they are very common. Not so here. First two heater schools I went to spoke about them Saying that if one was installed, the heater should be drained completely as what water left in the heat exchanger will evaporate and leave a residue inside that will eventually cause heating issues. As I have, in 30+ years, only seen it done once, I have always relied on that information. I removed it, customer was very happy not to have to walk around his house to run water through the heater when he already has automation. I have never had a bypass on my system and it works just fine.

I don't see a check valve in your spa return.

Check valve is just visible at ground level.

Yes...

But I have a separate spa pump too, not sure why.

Your spa return feeds your pool filtered and heated water using the main filter pump.

The spa pump is dedicated to your spa jets and provides maximum water flow and pressure through the spa jets without the restriction of the filter or heater.

What is in the Pentair panel on the right? Your signature does not list any Pentair automation.

Recently updated... haven't updated signature. Will do later.

Some people like the spillover always running even though the aeration causes the pH to rise.

If you want to stop the spillover from always running you can use SPILLOVER mode on your automation and reset the return actuator. We can discuss further if you want to explore that.

You think spillover is causing above average water loss... ?

Can definitely attest to the higher PH.
