Is it normal that under pressure there would be water leaking through the jet retainer clips of the water management system...so water leaking back into the main body compartment from the vacuum tube that houses the 3 pressure jets.

I would say it's a matter of how much water is leaking. Anything above a trickle is probably a problem. Then again, is it working ok? In my book, if something is working, it's not broken.
