So this happened

Hey, I think I did pretty well with a 500+ post thread, solely because I teased @kellyfair about not doing one back when.

But the point is heard loud and clear. The last 3 words of the UC description are the importantest. 'We love photos'.

@Newdude I take it you do not need the IntelliChlor Power Center that I committed to you as it is now off the wall and available.

I do not. I am up and running and still very grateful for the original offer. TFP at its finest right there. :)

For anyone on this frequency PM me if you need an IntelliChlor Power Center.

The stairs are blue-ish and no longer yellow / brown / green tinted.

Lots of dirt needs sucking up, but other than that I think it's good to go.

Gonna just have grass leading up to it? Or putting any concrete in around it?
That's entirely up in the air as the dirt settles. We don't need the back or the left side done, but an 'L' over to the diving board may look stupid.

Maybe a walking strip around and put a big patio between the house and pool, I dunno yet.
What's the plan for winter closing / cover?
Going to try and stay open. I will put up a temp fence for the one month it's frozen so the dogs don't walk across it while they can. If that fails and I am forced to do a safety cover, then I'll need a pool fence because the dogs will surely use the safety cover as a shortcut.

The low speed bubble remains half the lid after 2 days. It takes 3 seconds at 3k RPM to clear and I just did so I'll let it go now and see if it grows. I need to lube the union before the pump because they didn't do any lubing. (Already got the pump lid). I'll also get the filter hula hoop o-ring and all the unions one of these days when I'm feeling adventurous. It took some adjusting to get rid of all the drips and I'm in no rush to start over. For anyone reading who doesn't know, that's two unrelated problems. Air bubbles in the pump is a suction side leak and drips after are a pressure side leak.

You will find that bubble is normal at low speeds.

If you have automation you can just schedule your pump to run at high speed for a few minutes every day or two.

Since your profile does not contain any information about your equipment we cannot give more specific advice.

Do I really have to give you the link to create your signature?

I named my old bubble and we were pals. I haven't gotten to know this one well enough yet, but I'll likely greet him everytime I'm over at the pad just like the old one.
