We just purchased a home with a 54 year old gunite pool. Looks to be in great shape. Only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a light. Has anyone here installed a light on an already installed pool? Wondering how difficult and costly that would be.

Your signature says AG (above Ground) pool???

If you have an inground pool a light can be installed when the pool is replastered. You need to core drill a hole where you want the light for 1.5" PVC to hold a nicheless light. Then it depends what it takes to connect that location to your electrical panel.

Difficulty and cost depend on the details of your pool.
