Blue green gummy substance

This stuff is gummy feeling. Blue green. My water is clear, ph 7.6, fc 4. Find this stuff in the skimmer basket, and filter basket, here and there. Not floating in the pool.
Any idea what it is??

Does it stretch. It almost looks like plastic wrap, or a balloon, or teflon tape, or...heck I don't know.

How old is the pool?

Let's see if anyone else has any guesses.

Looks like strings in both photos. Probably balloons from the last time the neighbors had a party in your pool while you were away.

So many times I felt it was like a product that they used to close the pool with. Some sort of binding agent or something. It’s almost like the glue on the back of gift cards. But isn’t sticky too stuff just to itself. Like putty.
My pool is 5 years old.
