Pool is a month old, PB set schedule to run pool 7am-10pm. Pool was off for 48 hours due to a faulty breaker, so when I started I added chems and wanted to run 24 hours to help it mix. When I changed schedule, pool will not run now when "pool" is on, only when pool is off and schedule for one of the valve actuators to run.

Any thoughts?

Norm,

The IC40 should not be run without salt. I suggest that you shut it off.

If your IC40 had any power at all when your pump is not running or you are not in the Pool mode or Spa mode, your system is not wired correctly.

On the surface, it does not make sense.. Just to make sure.. Are you in the Service mode?

I'd delete the existing Pool schedule and reenter it.. I'd set it to 8 am to 8 am and then see if your pump runs 24/7.

Also, if you were screwing with programming did you change the pump type, or the pump speed that is assigned to the Pool Circuit?

Thanks,

Jim R.

To clarify, I'm in the process of putting salt in, it has not been running for the last month. I just connected it.

IC 40 is not running when pool is not on. If I'm running the feature (sheer descents) that has a special pump speed the pool can run, if I turn on the actual pool it runs for about 1 minute (with IC blinking) and then shuts off.

I did not change pump types or anything like that.

Thanks again,
Norm
