Greetings….it’s been a while.😁
I have a situation that I hope someone can help me with.
I have an inground pool with attached spa, ( I’ll try an attach a photo )
I just realized that the tile between the pool and spa have ruptured and will need to be repaired / replaced.
My question is, how can I shut down the system, and most importantly, when I shut down the system will the program be retained ( I don’t know how to reprogram it) it was installed in 2017 and has never been down. Is there a battery back up that keeps the program ?
Please advise….thanks in advance
:):)

Place the Easytouch in Service Mode. Nothing will operate by schedule while in Service Mode.

Sandy,

Just to make sure that we know exactly which automation system you have, please show us a pic with the door open.

The EasyTouch will not dump the program if power is removed. That said, depending on how it is wired, it might not need to be totally turned off.

All you need to do is shut off the pumps.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Sandy,

Your "lite" version of the EasyTouch does not have an internal load center for your circuit breakers. This means to shut it off you will have to go to your main breaker panel and find the breaker, or breakers, that feed power to your EasyTouch. If unsure, show us pics of any pool related breakers feeding the EasyTouch.

As Marty points out, you can just put the panel in the "Service" mode by pushing the "mode" button on the panel. The only downside to using the Service mode is that some idiot may take it out of the Service mode before you are ready. I am also not sure what would happen if the power when off.. Would the system come back up in the Service mode or not??

Why do you need to shut the EasyTouch off and how long will it need to be off?

Do you have ScreenLogic?

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks to all….I will just go ahead and put it in service mode.
My purpose for shutting it down, is to stop flow from the spa into the pool in order to give that area a chance to “dry out” in preparation for re-tileing,
I just didn’t know how long I can leave it in service mode before I lose the program.
Thanks again for your helpful suggestions.

If you wish to continue circulating the pool water, you can just shut off the valves to / from the spa and let the pool circulate.
