I had a slight Algae issue and did a SLAM. Got a bit of dead algae at bottom of the pool. Do you think I would be OK vacuuming through filter or use I vacuum on waste? I attached picture
"Gray", you can do either - vacuum to waste or into the filter and backwash later. But what concerns me is that dead algae usually looks a bit more grey or white, and the stuff in that pic seems to have color to it as if it's still alive. Did you just do a one-time shock, or did you actually maintain a SLAM Process until you passed all 3 SLAM criteria? Just be sure to do the latter. Good luck!
