Another O/B in Arizona

Thanks Kim! I did once yesterday and 3 times today, plan on doing 4x a day. I noticed a few of these cracks, and some air bubbles comes out when watering. Really hope it will be okay...

I have been watering the shotcrete 4-5 times a day. Good news is that there is no crack on the walls but I can see quite a few on the floor. At which point should I worry about them? The cracks are not very wide, can’t stick a coin or anything on it.

I told the shotcrete company about the cracks and also 3 hairline cracks in the umbrella holder that are bothering me. Tall umbrellas in the wind and cracked concrete sounds like a bad idea. Their repair person will come around tomorrow to take a look.

And today was coping and tile installation. I almost had electrical installed wasn’t for me leaving a hose bib leaking all night flooding the equipment trench :( Pulled about 35 gallons of water out, hopefully it will be dry enough tomorrow...

Now that would bother me as well for same reason. Let us know what they say and do please.
They couldn’t come today, said they will come tomorrow. The electrician also mentioned that one of the light pipes is too shallow, will need to chip concrete around the pipe. Aaaaand, the umbrella holder is too shallow by at least 3 inches, not sure that is fixable... sigh...

Ok, so pulling the water paid out, it is dry enough and electrical crew is back at work!

Not sure other owner/builders go through this, but I was worried for nothing. They looked at the cracks, said is only superficial and no structural issue, same on the umbrella. They dug around the light pipe and deepened the umbrella hole while here, all good to go.

Sorry about the issues but the tile looks great. Looks kind of familiar 😉. Are you in Layton Lakes?
It should look familiar indeed! You and @BUT ITS A DRY HEAT were quite an inspiration for my pool! I'm very grateful for the people in this forum :). I'm somewhat close, at Villages@Val Vista.

The grout will be white because I want the subway pattern to stand out. The pool finish will be CDC Mini Pebbles Turquoise without any addition. I didn't want anything green but we did a blind test through pictures at CDC and landed at Turquoise, I saw it outdoors and was convinced.

looking good. i wish i would not have decided on concrete deck and did something i can do myself like the pavers you did...i cant find anyone to return a call or give me a quote for decking.
Pavers were not as expensive as I thought, but I had to manage material separately from labor and organize it (find paver supplier, check the material, schedule delivery, etc). It is way above my skillset to actually place them myself, but if you are handy, it is worth it. Is it too late to change to pavers?

im jealous how fast yours is going...ha
I’m happy it is going fast but I will admit that I messed up the schedule and had electrical, deck and rough irrigation going at the same time, it was very very very stressful because some trenches had to be kept open, inevitable delays of subcontractors and it didn’t help that I flooded the equipment trench ;) I had one week dedicated for electrical and irrigation before the deck but shotcrete got postponed for a week due to plumbing/rebar rework. I highly recommend spacing out the stages by 2 weeks.

I liked the Turquoise there. It's a very pretty color. Can't wait to see it all together.

So today we finished the deck, tiles, gate and clean up. So happy to see the backyard going back to normal :) Inspection scheduled for Friday!
