Return Jet - Thread fitting size?

I am happy to report that this was operator error. Do not try to test fitting sizes when the pump in running on low. After I turned the pump off, I was able to confirm that 1-1/2" is the correct threaded fitting. :)
Now on to my next post about my first episode with algae....
