So my pool is covered for the winter but not closed because it’s too warm outside. Chlorine level is solid but pH is down to 7.2 and the calculator says to add about 2lbs of borax. Can I just slowly add this to the slimmer since the pool is covered?

TA is 90. And yep, pump still runs about 6hrs per day with the cover on. Waiting until the water drops below 60 degrees to fully close, per the pool school recommendation.

Since allen got your question answered, how was the trip and how did the pool do during it ?
The trip was friggin amazing!! Spain was the most amazing place ive ever been! Pool was zero maintenance. Had a friend check to make sure pump was good and water level didn’t drop for some reason, but all was perfect...just this small pH drop.
