What test kit should I get?

TF-100 or Taylor K-2006c. These are not cheap kits, but using them to care for your pool via TFPC helps save you a lot of time, trouble, and money versus pretty much any other option. I see from your previous post you have already experienced the Pool Store Train, so consider these an investment in never having to deal with those guys again.

But were you learning *accurate pool science*?? Because that is what we teach at TFP, not just something that the chem reps tell the sales folks to say at the pool store. Thousands of pools, a few real chemists and tons of happy pool owners can't be wrong! TFP is the bomb. dot. com!

Thanks for the suggestion LoneWolfArcher, but I just ordered my TF-100 with speed stir ($110 total, and free shipping). I read on this forum that the k2006 is excellent, but not enough reagents for someone like me, who is SLAMing the pool, and so I needed the k2006c or the TF-100. But that sounds like good advice for normal maintenance.
