Pentair actuator question

Hey guys. Question. My builder still owes me an actuator. I want to put it on the 3 way in the picture to open and close my floor return for when heating. So open when heating and closed when not heating. I know the actuators are an all on or off but I can change the cam settings.

Can this be done? I assume I have to open it up and change the cams to just do a 45 degree open and close so the one return always stays open when the floor return is open or closed.

Possible? Am I correct?

Thanks!

Yes, you just adjust the cam stop positions. The actuator manual explains it.

Pentair has their new Intellivalve but I doubt he will be giving you one of those.

ok thanks Allen. do you know what this valve does compared to the other? just wondering.

No more cams to adjust position.

Allen do those new ones work on my easytouch 4? Was just wondering. Cost diff is minimal

I believe they will but you should confirm with Pentair. I haven’t heard if anyone using it on an ET yet.
