My pool near Dallas is still holding on since being well below freezing for over for three days now. I Think I’m going to winterize it next year as this is giving me all sorts of anxiety. It survived 4 days of the teens last year but is struggling this year. Worried about tonight.

Well the conversion to the SWG happened right before Labor Day. It went off without a hitch. I had everything dialed in until I had to turn off the pump for a few days while they replace five coping pieces, polished, and sealed the coping including the spillway. Everything looks much better now...

Nice tile. I’m biased because I too have the Nanz line just in the darker I think. It was an expensive upgrade for us but it turned out great.

Yeah I am burning 5 FC a day, I have some intense western sun shining on my pool. Between that and the extremely weak chlorine, that was my problem. Everything is going great now. I’ll be glad when I can toss in my robot and switch to my SWG.

Got in today and the darker spot in the deep end isn’t noticeable when in the pool. It’s only really noticeable when you are on the far side of the pool where no one will ever be unless they are walking around the coping. There is rough spot in the plaster it’s about 1’ x 2’ area near the drain...

It gets sun from essentially 11:30 to 8:00pm with 1-4 being direct full on intense westward sun, the it starts to get gradually shaded. Still holding around 4.5.
