Filter top burst out of clamp

Mine looks just like that. The clamp isn't damaged. The "C" channel of the clamp needs to be around the upper and lower filter lips.

Replumbing pad/adding swg - please tear apart my plan!

I would put the booster pump after the swg. That way you have full water flow through it. I would also move the booster pump inlet to the vertical piece of pipe and only have the swg in the horizontal section you mention. A concern I do see it that the fitting you have for the booster pump is...

Filter top burst out of clamp

I have this exact DE filter. Jandy DEL48. When the clamp is installed correctly it would be impossible that the top separate from the bottom without either the clamp physically breaking apart or the top fiberglass cracking that entire lip off. What I'm guessing happened is that the last time...

    Hydrostatic Conundrum

Look at the base of the pool pump where the basket goes (from the outside). There are normally a couple ports that these could have come from.

    Waterline tile help

I did something similar over winter. I bet you could re-tile it for a couple hundred bucks. I would do the under cut as you described so you don't damage the plaster. The thinset behind your original tiles (circular blobs) looks exactly how mine was. I don't know what they used to use, but its...

    Sanding/Polishing Plaster Pool

I think it looks great. I don't think the plaster needs to wait at all before adding water. By the time your done you can start putting water.

    Sanding/Polishing Plaster Pool

I used Pool Patch once on a small area that delaminated in my pool to buy some time before a full resurface. It didn't match the rest of my pool perfectly, but it did last 5 years longer before I redid the entire pool (The patch didnt' fail, I just finally decided to redo the entire pool)...

    Help Needed

I think I lost you on steps 2 and 3. Prolite (or any thinset you can buy) is not something that is spread over the entire pool and allowed to harden first. It is what adheres tile to a substrate. You will used a notched trowel (size based on the size of the tile you are installing, small tile...
