Looking to take the “plunge” so to speak to add borates to my Salt pool. Looking for any better practices/ ideas/ anything to watch for? Have my boric acid from Duda and special test strips for borates en route. Thanks
Thanks. I assume while the pool has a plaster base, the plaster does not interact with the water because of the coating. Just wondering if the set up in the app is just asking pool type as a demographic type question or if the pool type will change the ranges for some of the readings (such as CH)
I am trying to configure the Pool math app for my pool. In the set up for pool type you only have 3 choices: plaster, vinyl, or fiberglass. If you have a gunite pool with a pebble tec finish, what is the best choice? I assume not plaster. Thanks
Trying to figure out the best course. Pool math app seems to give conflicting advice. It suggests using borax to raise pH and an acid to lower pH to get TA adjusted. Any suggestions?
