How long have you had it? We just got a pool up and running this year - had to buy a new one - our pool last year we could never get the water clear. I just deep a deep clean of the sand pump and holy cow did a lot of junk come out of it! Hoping to have better results now...

I can't help with leaks - but are you putting the skimmer in place of an intake valve or somewhere else? Will you have an intake plus a skimmer or just the skimmer? How are you plugging up the intakes, if you are doing so? I'm trying to understand how to make this work for us.

We used a big white round tough fabrc feeling thing - I think it was called a rhino liner but it might have been an elephant pad. I think there are different brands. Our pool liner held up great, the frame rusted out. We left our pool up in the winter after the first year.
