Hayward Navigator ultra not moving and not because lack of pressure.

The only other thing I can think and I need to research is I bought replacement wings but maybe I did not buy the ones for the ultra - just regular navigator flap kit - I wonder if the ultra flaps are bigger and that could be the issue - I am grasping at different theories.

Hayward Navigator ultra not moving and not because lack of pressure.

I thought it was not enough suction but then I used the pressure gauge and pressure is fine. The pods and flaps move like a beast when suspended and I removed the weight on the hose as well thinking the hose is weighing it down. I lift the hose to aid its movement and it moves fast then slows...

    pool light and CGFI issue

thanks for the ideas. I should mention that I plugged a hair dryer in the outlet and got it to work. Not sure if that means anything.

    pool light and CGFI issue

the CGFI breaker is on an outlet next to my control box that offers two 110V plugs. When I push the red button in and turn on the light on from the control box the red button pops out.

    pool light and CGFI issue

last year my pool light went out and I did not replace it (I have another pool light in the pool on other end and then a spa light). I did not replace it because never really swam at night. This year when I tried to turn on the lights all were not working. I checked the CGFI and the red...

Plumbing to the multiport valve of filter

Thank you for that. I never shopped for these before so I hope these type of unions are easy to find. I will glue on half of the new union and then screw on to the existing pipes that have the other half of the union on their end if I follow correctly.

Plumbing to the multiport valve of filter

See those three unions (screw on collars) on each of the three pipes leading to the multi port valve? When I buy a new multi-port valve for the purposes of connecting it to the plumbing do I need to just buy the plumbing parts from the valve to the union? It appears with my existing valve that...

I need a new pool spa pump

Thanks. According to the label in the picture is the service factor 1.10? I am not sure that is the correct reading but my pump is 2hp so would wouldn't I need to get another 2 hp or 1.5 uprated is sufficient to be comparable to the old motor?

I need a new pool spa pump

When I asked for a pump recommendation I should have mentioned I want to replace the whole thing from the pump all the way to the basket because there is a small water leak and I'm sure it's coming from the pump or from somewhere around the basket but since it's so old I want to replace the...

I need a new pool spa pump

I was generally happy with the amount of turbulence caused by the Jets but the pump was already running really loud so I am sure it wasn't running at it's optimal condition

I need a new pool spa pump

Here is my old pump - it is dedicated soley to the jets in my spa for making the water bubbly. It is dead. It is really old. I want a new pump and wondered if today's smaller and maybe cheaper pumps can do the work this dinosaur did. If you need to recommend an equivalent 2.0HP pump then so...
