I did not know there was a third brush. My Z5 sometimes climbs up half way and sometimes goes to the waterline. It gets the job done though. I am perfectly happy with it.

99954226 is the number for the pro remote. Seems to be 115 bucks. Not sure if I want the extra features that bad.

I bought a Dolphin Z5. I love it so far. I love the top cartridges and it does its job well. I was debating on buying a cheaper one, but once you have dropped the money on the pool what is a few hundred extra?

Finally, I found the thread with the remote. So, did this ever work? If so has anyone found a place to buy it? I found the basic remote on ebay.

I imagine they are the exact same models. This would let you access the extra features. I ready someone was going to try this and see if it worked. I don't remember a response.

I have never seen a pool fence in my entire life on any pool. I have been in plenty of them.

I don't understand why. My yard is completely fenced in. There is no way for anyone to get inside unless they run in behind my car. The gate is on a timer. I am really regretting building this pool.

When I did my research on bots. I found aquabot is very expensive to repair compared to dolphin. They also seemed to have more problems. You can also buy the DX5 online with a warranty in the Z5 which saves you a few hundred.

Many rave about the Aquabot 4WD. This was the other contender for me.

I think Epic warranties all Dolphin stuff.
