I did not know there was a third brush. My Z5 sometimes climbs up half way and sometimes goes to the waterline. It gets the job done though. I am perfectly happy with it.

I bought a Dolphin Z5. I love it so far. I love the top cartridges and it does its job well. I was debating on buying a cheaper one, but once you have dropped the money on the pool what is a few hundred extra?

Finally, I found the thread with the remote. So, did this ever work? If so has anyone found a place to buy it? I found the basic remote on ebay.

I imagine they are the exact same models. This would let you access the extra features. I ready someone was going to try this and see if it worked. I don't remember a response.

I have never seen a pool fence in my entire life on any pool. I have been in plenty of them.

I don't understand why. My yard is completely fenced in. There is no way for anyone to get inside unless they run in behind my car. The gate is on a timer. I am really regretting building this pool.

When I did my research on bots. I found aquabot is very expensive to repair compared to dolphin. They also seemed to have more problems. You can also buy the DX5 online with a warranty in the Z5 which saves you a few hundred.

Many rave about the Aquabot 4WD. This was the other contender for me.

I think Epic warranties all Dolphin stuff.

After doing a ton of research. The Dolphin Triton was one I was strongly considering, but I went a little more expensive.

I would not be worried. I looked at that model too. There reviews on Amazon are very positive. I chose the Z5 over it because the filters are top loading. I have a bad back. A few hundred bucks to be is a weekend of drinking.

Would not e surprised if they both took commands from both remotes.

I doubt you can hear it at all unless you are under the water. Well aside from the water being pushed around.

Ohh yea, thank you all that helped and responded to my threads on robotic cleaners. I still think it would be helpful to list them all out. Maybe I will do it if I am bored so a mod can stick it. I found this to be the only real confusing thing to pick as far as pools go.

Triton and Premier are the same thing. I looked at it. I was just wondering why the M5/Z5 is so much better. I mean I can afford it. I just don't believe in wasting money. I swear someone needs to do a sticky on robotic cleaners. There are just so many ways to go. It is quite confusing...

1300 is a long way from 750. I don't even want to remote or caddy. I will be storing it just 6 feet from the pool. If the Z5/M5 was 1000 I would do it.
