Well it’s happening again- whenever freeze mode comes on, the spa overfills and drains the pool. I have two motors, one for pool and spa, and it also runs jets. The second motor is just for a second set of jets. I think the culprit is the second motor, which somehow puts more water into the spa...

Now that I think about it, because the spa drained due to the busted pipe, I wonder if a bunch of air is in the line?

Hi Jim. Equipment pad is located below the spa, and I don’t know how to figure out the intake. I’m guessing it’s from the spa drain/suction. The pump on the left is the one in question, and attaching a close up too.

Ok this is a bit strange. No water in the pump, but when I start opening the lid to prime it, water gushed in. Then when I run the pump, all the water is cleared out. Any ideas?

Actually I don’t really know why I’m running my pump. The people who built the pool suggested I keep it running continuously so I’ve just been doing that but I’m beginning to question many things they recommended I do. We apply chlorine directly into the pool as our puck canister no longer works.

Hello friends We currently run our circulation pump 24/7. But this winter I’m thinking to reduce that a bit. For a 20k gallon pool, any suggestions on how long to run it?

Hi friends During the winter season we don’t have anyone use the pool. Do you advise using chlorine when it’s not in use for several months? Pool remains covered when not in use.
