Auto Refill

Hi folks. Hope everyone is having a wonderful winter.

The auto refill is causing me issues again. Last year it cracked due to freezing. Again this winter. It’s taped with electric warming on he sections coming from the house, but the connection that goes in-line to the pool system is the problematic area.

Looking forward opinions on using an auto refill as I’m considering getting rid of it.

Why not winterize (drain) it during your winter? I doubt you need it during that time.

I could not have our pool without an autofill. We lose large amounts to evaporation and we could not leave the pool for for more than a couple days during the bulk of the year without the auto fill.

Good idea , mknauss. I’ll try to do that before next season.
