Thanks for replies, I shelled out and replaced it earlier this year with Rheem P-M406A-EN-C. Jandy was 11 years old and I bought a house with pool, judging by the condition of the house and all, the heater hadn't been maintained hence my decision.

Hi, Tested my CH level, which I haven't done this year, and it says it's 150 ppm. This looks very low to me, is it possible for it drop that much? I believe it was alright last year. According to Pool Calculator, I need to add 106 lb of Calcium Chloride to bring up CH to recommended 450 level...

Technician came, opened the heater and started it, waited, pushed the on/off button few times, sniffed it, it did smell as something burning so he said "it's old and it's not supposed to do that" and he was not going to fix it but he can replace it. I'll take a look myself tonight.

I have Jandy LXi NG heater that's just stopped working and giving this message "Fault Check Ign Control". I called the local pool company and they are saying this heater is not produced anymore and if they cannot fix it they will replace it. It did not sound like they were going to try very hard...
